Nonagon Infinity is King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard's eighth album. It was released on 29 April 2016[1][2].
"This record was made on the road, for the road. Our shows had been getting louder, heavier, faster and tighter. The sets were becoming a jigsaw. How can each song connect to the one before? How can how can we make each song fit? We had this fantasy that we'd start playing shows that once they started, they didn't stop. No breaks, no talking, no banter. I don't think we ever did play a show like that, but we did make this record in that headspace. It almost broke us, but we got there in the end... Love, Stu"[3]and cookie dog,Joey,Ambrose

Plot[]
While Nonagon Infinity has a story it is not told as clearly as albums like Polygondwanaland due to the cyclical structure of album meaning that the listener can start it at any song which makes it difficult to tell a linear story. The plot deals with story elements present in other albums: Han Tyumi's transformation into a cyborg [Robot Stop, Big Fig Wasp], and a brain surgery that Alters the patient [Gamma Knife].
Evil Death Roll and Invisible Face describe how the universe is a sentient being - combined with the cyclical nature of the album this could be implying that Han Tyumi is doomed to create a new version of himself in each universe he creates after he murders his own. Wah Wah and Road Train detail the resurrection of Satan/Satan's spawn respectively.
One of the last two plot points are possibly what is meant by the repeated phrase "Nonagon Infinity opens the door". Either that it opens the door for Han Tyumi to become altered again, or that it opens the door to bring Satan into the mortal realm, or that these can be understood to be the same thing.
